Dr. Pablo Segales Bautista is a surgeon trained at the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés, Bolivia. He subsequently specialized in general and gastroenterological surgery at the Bolivian-Japanese Gastroenterological Institute, affiliated with the Universidad Mayor Real y Pontificia San Francisco Xavier. With the goal of perfecting his skills in minimally invasive techniques, he completed a specialized training in advanced laparoscopic surgery at the Universidad CES in Medellín, Colombia. He also decided to consolidate his academic and clinical profile through a subspecialty in bariatric and metabolic surgery at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Mexico, an area in which much of his surgical and research practice is currently focused.
