Otabek Azizov, MD Oncoendoscopist and Endoscopy Specialist Head of the Endoscopy Service, Kashkadarya Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology, Uzbekistan Dr. Otabek Azizov is an experienced oncologist and endoscopy specialist from Uzbekistan, with more than 15 years of professional experience in oncology and extensive clinical experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. He currently serves as Head of the Endoscopy Service at the Kashkadarya Branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology. His clinical practice focuses on gastrointestinal oncology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and endoscopic biopsy. He is particularly interested in modern endoscopic techniques for the detection and treatment of early-stage gastrointestinal malignancies. Throughout his professional career, Dr. Azizov has participated in international educational programs and advanced training courses in Russia, India, and other countries, expanding his expertise in modern endoscopic procedures, endoscopic surgery, ERCP, and endoscopic ultrasound. Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he is actively engaged in scientific and research activities. His current research interests focus on modern endoscopic approaches to the early detection of gastric cancer, the development of effective screening strategies, and improving the early diagnosis of gastric malignancies in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Dr. Azizov is committed to advancing endoscopic practice, strengthening early cancer detection programs, and promoting the exchange of professional knowledge and international collaboration. Through his clinical, organizational, and scientific activities, he aims to contribute to the development of modern oncological endoscopy and improved cancer care.
